Orientation workshop

Dear Parents,

We are very happy to announce a workshop for our Upper School students. Project “Orientation”  will be presented on Friday, February 10, 2017 at ISLP.  The workshop will be presented by Doc. Prof. Ugo D’Amora, an expert in Tissue Engineering specifically in Regenerative Medicine.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity for Upper School students to gain information on the Italian University system and academic programs and assist students with choosing their third year Upper School academic path.  The following schedule is provided for your information.

Session 1

• Presentation of the Italian University System
• University as a responsible choice
• How to choose the appropriate academic program
• University of Naples – Federico II
• School of Engineering

Session 2

• Materials (Material Engineering and its different specialties and job perspectives – Presentation of different kinds of prototypes and case studies)
• What is Tissue Engineering?
• Practical Case Study (Anatomy of the Invertebal Disc)
• Experiment (Analysis of Non-Newtonian Fluids)

This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for students to get a taste of University life and what is expected from university students. Students should not miss this opportunity!
